A Crazy Month

What a month this has been- the tragey in Gaza and South Israel, rockets, suffering. Sad.

...But life goes on...

This month has seen MimoLite approved (after some weirdness in the Apple Testing process, but all was well at the end). We were suprised to see that the app has been downloaded hundeds of times even though we didn't promote it in any way, it never showed up in the New list since it was approved after the availability date, and it's name starts with M and not AAA... This shows us the power of the mass iphone market. We will only promote MimoPlus (see below) and use MimoLite as a demo app to give people the possibility of tasting our app for free.


And as of yesterday I am happy to say that MimoPlus - our first pay app - has been approved. We hit a small snag since the build we created was for firmware 2.2, but should have been for 2.1. We have resubmitted and eagerly await the acceptance of the update. We are preparing to send out demos to a number of influential blogs with the hope that they like the app and recommend it. We hope people like it and we start seeing some sales. We aren't holding our breath for a hit- this is a small utility app that we hope is able to make a nice showing, and in any case it serves as our on-the-job training of the Appstore sales processes.
